Our January Independent of the Month is Huckleberry’s Natural Market! Located in Spokane, WA, Huckleberry’s has been “keeping it local” for nearly a quarter century.
The original Huckleberry’s store opened in 1996. Previously known as Monroe Street Market, this small store was purchased by Rosauers Supermarkets (owners of Super 1 Foods). Shortly after, it began to blossom into the market it is today.
Huckleberry’s takes the highest care in selecting the products on their shelves. They’re Spokane’s first natural and organic grocery store. Organic, Non-GMO, and local foods are all of great importance. All items on shelves are thoroughly researched to ensure they comply with standards.
“We are here to produce for and provide our customers with the best tasting, most healthful food possible and to pledge a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. “
The produce department at Huckleberry’s stocks local and organic produce and their bakery offers vegan and gluten-free options. Their eco-friendly bulk bins are your “go-to” for almost anything you’re looking for. For the wine enthusiasts, be sure to stop by and explore their wine department and chat with a helpful wine specialist. At Huckleberry’s customers can make informed decisions by reading all of the clearly labeled items.
Espressos, fresh squeezed juice and all things in between are found at 9th Street Juice Works, with an additional selection of sweet and savory breakfast items (vegan options are available). The 9th Street Bistro serves vegan and nonGMO meals. Sandwiches, burgers, and wraps are a few of the many tasty options you’ll find on your next visit to Huckleberry’s.
“Our menu reflects an eclectic blend of comfort foods with seasonal changes that empower us to take advantage of the freshest, local produce.”
We’d like to congratulate Huckleberry’s on their newest store opening! Their Ridgefield location opened this past December. Huckleberry’s latest sales are on their website, read up on the latest deals here.
